CHARLES FAZZINO, Artist with a big heart.

Nuance is proud to be affiliated with this famous and generous artist.

Fazzino Bio – Charles Fazzino is the most popular 3-D artist in the world today. As the creator of limited edition fine art silkscreen serigraphs, he is best known for his use of vibrant colors, exceptional detail and brilliant storytelling ability. Each of his spectacular images transcends time and space, and brings back the fondest of personal memories for collectors all over the world. It takes a familiarity with Charles Fazzino’s artistic process to truly appreciate the talent, effort, and workmanship that go into creating an edition of art. After going through a hand-printed silkscreen process, each image is meticulously cut, glued, glittered, and assembled-again, all by hand. Each piece is an individual creation. Fazzino’s art offers unlimited appeal to people of all ages and from diverse backgrounds. His exciting mastery of color and movement have set him apart from his contemporaries and skyrocketed him to the top of the art world.

Nuance is proud to be affiliated with this famous and generous artist. When Robert Rowen, the owner of Nuance Galleries, met Charles for the first time there was an instant bond. Both Charles and Robert were dedicated to the great organization The Muscular Dystrophy Association. Within months of that meeting, Nuance Galleries hosted a show and fundraiser for MDA, where $5,500 was raised. Fazzino not only donated several of his original 3-D serigraphs for the event, but also spent many hours during the show personalizing the backs of all the sold works. Two years later they collaborated again on a fundraiser for MDA and this time the celebration, surrounding Robert’s 50th birthday, netted $14,000. There are few artists today with the integrity and heart like Charles Fazzino. Charles has been instrumental in raising money through his artwork for charities besides the Muscular Dystrophy Association, such as Rosie O’Donnell’s For All Kids Foundation, The Ice Hockey in Harlem Education organization sponsored by the NHL, and the Habitat For Humanity program to name a few. His experiences at MDA Camp Pa-qua-tuck while creating an original mural with 60 MDA children were a highlight of his life. Charles was amazed at the enthusiastic response he received at the camp. “What an incredible cooperative effort. The children were wonderful. We motivated each other. I was inspired by their energy, creativity, and eagerness to participate. I think this will always be one of my favorite artistic creations-certainly one of my most rewarding.” The painting is now in the permanent MDA collection in Tucson, Arizona.

Charles has appeared on the Today Show, where he created a one of a kind painting of Rockefeller Plaza. He has a following all over the world, with exhibitions in Japan, Switzerland, France, Germany, Israel, Hong Kong, South Africa, England, Australia, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Despite the whirlwind lifestyle and fast-paced career, Charles Fazzino has a surprisingly soft-spoken, patient, and thoughtful demeanor. Collectors and art gallery owners alike are often amazed that after 20 years on the show circuit, he continues to create one-of-a-kind signature drawings for every collector he meets. “My collectors mean everything to me. They inspire me to do what I love for a living. I’m grateful for every piece they buy and I feel that it's the least I can do for them when they take time out of their busy schedules to come and meet me in person.” Charles Fazzino at an art show is like a kid playing with finger paints. His acrylic paint markers are spread out all over the table and his hands are covered with ink. “I love the shows. I get some of my greatest inspirations while drawing for my collectors. Plus, it’s nice to talk to people who actually own my artwork. It’s playtime for me.” An interesting side note is that in almost every one of his works he will include a reference to his daughter and to their dog.
